Job Description
Our client is seeking to recruit a Support and Pre-Sales Engineer who will be responsible to provide 1st line support for customers and re-sellers via telephone and our clients’ support system.
Organization
Our client is an international privately owned company that secures and prevents web hacking by manufacturing website security software.
Function
•Remotely connect to customers’ installations to troubleshoot their issues
•Use various support techniques, including the reviewing product’s log files to gain further knowledge of the problem encountered by the customer
•Escalate unresolved support tickets to tier 2 support and follow up to ensure tickets are resolved
•Periodically test and report any problems discovered in our clients’ products
•Assist the sales team, re-sellers and distributors with pre-sales technical queries
•Prepare and deliver online sales and technical demonstrations of the products
•Produce technical write-ups about topics related to our clients’ products
•Research and keep up to date with new web and network security vulnerabilities
•Suggest new technical content when needed, such as blog posts and articles
•Produce technical videos which would be made available on YouTube
Requirements
•An IT degree or work experience to compensate
•Knowledge about general IT security
•Experience with Linux, web servers and web technologies
•A good command of verbal and written English
